First off, here is some early level blocking from the prototype game:
One thing we did want to begin exploring as far as the space was concerned was the notion of forced perspective in order to create a curated, intimate space. Below are some early tests with forced perspectives to draw players in to particular aspects of the level only to find that things are not what they seem. This is core to You and the Garden. While forced perspective could obviously be used maliciously (left), it can also serve as a valuable tool for controlling flow within a space. |
